Shopping The Content
The following Terms and Conditions apply to how we supply any school uniforms, shoes and stationery displayed for sale on this Website which you purchase through this Website or otherwise. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects your statutory rights if you are contracting as a consumer. The information, service and School Basix displayed for sale on this Website are intended for use by residents of India only.
By placing an order through our website, you guarantee that:
(i) you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts on your behalf or on behalf of the school for whom you are acting (as applicable); and
(ii) you are at least 18 years old
How The Contract Is Formed Between You And Us
After placing an order, you will get an email from us acknowledging that we have received your order. Please note that this does not indicate that your order has been accepted. Your order constitutes an offer to us to buy items of School Basix displayed for sale on this Website. All orders are subject to acceptance by us, and we will confirm such acceptance to you by sending you an email that confirms that items of School Basix have been dispatched. The contract between us will only be formed when we give you such dispatch confirmation. The contract will only relate to those items of School Basix ordered whose dispatch we have confirmed in such confirmation, and we will not be obliged to supply any other items of School Basix that may have been part of your order until the dispatch of such items has been confirmed in an individual dispatch confirmation. Anyone who is not a party to the contract is not entitled to enforce any of its terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
All orders received are made to order as we provide plain stocks and then embroider or print the school logo as required.
Prices shown on this Website are independent of VAT. VAT is added at the checkout stage, so you will be shown VAT inclusive prices before you make payment (please note that young children’s clothing and footwear generally has a zero rate of VAT).
The placing of orders for school uniforms, shoes and other stationery products on this Website is an invitation to accept offers for School Basix products and is not an offer to sell at the listed rate nor is it binding on us. We are under no obligation to accept your School Basix order.
In the event a School Basix product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error, we will notify you of the correct price and we will give you the choice of either purchasing the School Basix product at the correct price or canceling your order. If you confirm you want the product at a fixed price, we will deliver the product to you. If payment has been charged for the purchase and you cancel your order, we will, issue a refund on the return of the goods. Except as otherwise expressly provided in these Terms and Conditions, you have no right to cancel or amend any order for any items of School Basix once placed and received by us.
We accept payment by credit card, charge card, debit card, or by mail order using the School Basix order form issued to your school with a cheque attached as payment. All orders received are made to order as we offer plain stocks and then embroider or print the school logo as required. We shall not process any School Basix orders until we receive confirmation of payment.
Your payment card is debited at the time of placing your School Basix order and sometimes a password may be asked for this as an additional security measure requested by your card provider.
All transaction details passed between you and this website is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates. No cardholder details are ever passed unencrypted, and any messages sent to our servers from our payment service provider are signed using MD5 hashing to prevent tampering. You are be fully assured that nothing we pass to our payment service provider can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information.
